I do love me some narrative, so when I began covering this song, I decided I wanted to tell a pretty sad and depressing story: a narcissist who lovebombs their partner, and the partner is so enamored with them that they can't see the truth until it's too late. I think it turned out pretty well, and I hope you enjoy it!
