Years ago (*shudders at writing that*), there was a thing called Twitch Plays Pokémon. It inspired me to create a Twitch bot that creates music based on chat interactions. This post has some details about that project.

I have always appreciated absurdity. This story absolutely is that. It's short, simple, a little sad, and simply bizarre. Sometimes there is no explanation for life's oddities and we're left to cope on our own.

Okay, so hear me out here: I wrote an Excel spreadsheet that draws what are only partially random words from the Enochian Keys for the composition of a ritual, where the words both describe the outcome of the ritual and how to perform it. Curious? Take a look.

I think form poetry is fascinating. This is my attempt at a pantoum. I actually wrote the first draft of it a long while ago, was okay with it enough and shelved it. Later, I had a particularly intense long distance relationship and I felt inspired to revisit it. This is what I ended up with.

I wrote this poem sometime around 2010, and it has remained in state of near-constant revision since then. I submitted it to a competition at writer's festival, and it won first place for the adult's poetry division. I think it's some of my best writing, so I wanted to share.
